AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), launched the ‘Arabic Fluency Program’ services in Djibouti, in collaboration with Salaam Center for Training, Research and Consultancy, within the framework of implementing a previously signed cooperation agreement between the two parties.

According to the agreement, Al Salaam Center will conduct the Arabic Fluency courses in accordance with the quality standards implemented by TAG.Global, as well as by issuing accredited certifications by both parties. Furthermore, Abu-Zer pointed out that Djibouti has a large number of non-Arabic speakers, especially Muslims, who are interested in learning the language, noting that the Arabic Fluency Program “TAGArabic.Global” is a top priority on the agenda of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, and one of the programs that he launched to preserve the Arabic language and disseminate it globally.

For his part, Mr. Guled Yusuf, manager of Salaam Center for Training, Research and Consultancy, welcomed cooperation with TAG.Global that enables the Center to contribute to upgrading the teaching of Arabic language in Djibouti and the Horn of Africa region.

Yusuf added that the outputs of the ‘Arabic Fluency Program’ will qualify Arab speakers for recruitment in public and private sector institutions. He further stated that the Center’s role is represented in hosting this initiative through the high-level equipped educational environment that takes into account standards of quality education, in addition to conducting tests that assess the level of graduates. It will also launch marketing campaigns that promote the significance of Arabic language.

Djibouti is a member of the League of the Arab States and has deep-rooted history since the arrival of many Arab tribes from the south of the Arabian Peninsula, across the Bab el-Mandeb Straits.
