    ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and Higher Population Council Renew Cooperation Agreement

    AMMAN – The cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) and the Higher Population Council (HPC) has been renewed. The agreement that was digitally signed in the presence of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and founder of TAG.Global, and HPC Secretary General, Dr. Abla Amawi provides for a set of professional services offered by TAG.Global, particularly in the area of capacity building.

    The renewal of the agreement, which ended last April, is attributed to TAG.Global’s global reputation as a leading organization in offering various training programs that include, education, consulting, project management, human resources, information technology, web development and design services among others. 

    It is also attributed to the Council’s desire to carry out its tasks effectively, particularly its ongoing pursuit of one of its strategic goals aiming at improving institutional efficiency and raising the quality of outputs by implementing capacity building training programs that contribute to achieving joint national goals. 

    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed the important role and mission of the HPC in raising awareness concerning issues related to development and population through well-oriented and carefully designed programs in a manner that serves demographic policies in Jordan, expressing his pride in TAG.Global’s continuous cooperation with the Council in offering various services. 

    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that building capacities and skills is a necessity that should be embraced, noting that the future will be based on knowledge. He also reiterated the importance of improving employees’ efficiency due to its positive impact in boosting the level of the offered services. 

    For her part, Dr. Amawi stressed the importance of the agreement in enhancing cooperation between the Council and TAG.Global in the field of training and professional services, praising TAG.Global’s support and the fruitful cooperation the Council has been given throughout the period of implementation of the previous agreement. She also referred to the professional training programs the Council’s employees benefitted from during that period. 

    Amawi also pointed out that the cooperation entails the assessment of the Council’s staff to identify the required training needs to enable them to play the roles assigned to them in serving the population and development issues. At the same time, Dr. Amawi praised TAG.Global’s leading role in developing local community by providing an array of quality services that contribute to the development and progress of the society.

    Dr. Amawi underlined the Council’s constant keenness in establishing effective partnerships with the private sector institutions which are considered the backbone of economic development and an important component in supporting demographic policies to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.  

    Training programs offered to HPC’s staff by TAG.Global include Project Management Professional (PMP), Statistical Analysis, Digital Marketing & Social Media Networks, Advanced Excel, Media Discourse Techniques and others. 

    The two parties agreed to form a joint team to identify the Council’s training courses which will be held at TAG.Global headquarters; either at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy and/or Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation.
