    Abu-Ghazaleh Academy Organizes ‘Workforce Planning’ Workshop in Cooperation with the Arab Fertilizer Association

    AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy (TAG-Academy), jointly  with the Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA), has organized  a workshop entitled ‘Integration between Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Training’ in the presence of a host of the Association’s member firms from Egypt, Qatar and Jordan.  

    The three-day workshop aims at introducing the participants to the various means and methods that serve the institutions and their staff through optimal planning of their workforces, whether new or senior employees, with a special focus on institutions that work in the field of fertilizers in addition to reviewing a number of success stories. 

    Executive Director of TAG-Academy, Mr. Yousef Al-Rawas, stressed that TAG-Academy is constantly striving to organize workshops with the aim of developing the competencies and capabilities of employees, noting that the Academy focuses particularly on providing specialized workshops to both public and private institutions to maximize benefits to those institutions and their employees.

    For his part, AFA Secretary General, Eng. Mohamed Abdullah Zain, expressed his pride in the partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) which is distinguished for its professional commitment as well as in keeping abreast of the latest methods and content in the field of training. He expressed his hope  hopes for more cooperation with the Association which works tirelessly for the prosperity of fertilizer industry. 

    The workshop was held with the participation of representatives from member companies of AFA, an international Arab organization based in Egypt, including Abu Qir Fertilizers Company, Alexandria Fertilizers, Helwan Fertilizers Company, KEMAPCO Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries, Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO) and the Arab Potash Company. 

    At the end of the workshop, TAG-Academy Manager, Ms. Randa Khoury awarded certificates to participants and honorary shields were exchanged between AFA and TAG-Academy.
