    “Abu-Ghazaleh” and University of Jordan Sign MoU for Academic Cooperation

    AMMAN - University of Jordan (UJ) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim to enhance knowledge, exchange expertise and implement joint academic programs.

    The MoU was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of TAGUCI, and Prof. Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah, UJ President. 

    The MoU stipulated developing cooperation activities between the two parties in academic fields of mutual interest, especially in joint research projects, educational programs, as well as in organizing courses and workshops, scientific conferences and student exchange programs.

    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh praised Dr. Al-Qudah’s efforts as one of the country's educational leaders, highlighting his mission in developing education and his outstanding efforts in making a change to boost this significant sector to adapt with rapid technological revolution on a global level.  

    Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that the UJ is a well-known educational institution that plays a leading and pioneering role and constantly works to develop its educational system which is why they were keen to directly cooperate with TAGUCI; a university college that specializes in the fields of business, creativity and innovation to help students transform their ideas into marketable products.  

    Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh noted that TAGUCI established an incubator in partnership with the Joint Board for Military Development and Innovation which is specialized in setting plans, suggestions and recommendations as well as preparing studies to create an IT-based environment that gathers experts of the Armed Forces to encourage and support creativity and innovation in all fields in all military units of the Armed Forces. He also called on students of the University of Jordan to join the TAGUCI incubator to develop their creativity. 

    For his part, Dr. Al-Qudah expressed his happiness in the joint cooperation which will lead to a qualitative leap in scientific and academic processes especially in conducting scientific research and opening doors to educational entities to benefit from each other's expertise and resources.

    Dr. Al-Qudah commended TAGUCI’s advanced educational level in light of its global openness and cooperation with developed educational institutions, in addition to its keenness to share its expertise and capabilities which positively reflects on the education level.  

    At the end of signing ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh awarded Dr. Al- Qudah TAGUCI with an honorary shield for his pioneering role in developing education, in the presence of a host of TAGUCI academic and administrative staff.
