Abu-Ghazaleh Patronizes Launch Ceremony of “Knowledge To Benefit From” Initiative

AMMAN – Under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), the “Knowledge To Benefit From” initiative launched the result of its 5th session for the year 2018/2019 during a special ceremony held at Al Hussein Cultural Center in the presence of more than 500 participating students.

During the ceremony, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh told attendees that happiness is a self-taken decision and choice, which the individual should seek to achieve regardless of harsh circumstances, noting that power stems from clear vision, determination, challenge and commitment to work and not only money.

“Our ability to work increases with the amount of love and tolerance we have towards others. Love is the most powerful weapon,” he said, underscoring the importance of developing decision-making skills and bearing responsibility from an early age attributed to their impact on shaping the character of individuals and preparing them for the future.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh praised the efforts exerted by all stakeholders in the initiative, referring to importance of initiatives that gather teachers and students in encouraging innovation and creativity inside and outside the classrooms.

For her part, Ms. Sana’ Al Tamimi, Head of the initiative, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for patronizing the initiative, and for honoring the participating teachers and principals not to mention awarding TAGITOP devices, manufactured by TAG.Global, to first place winners from the participating students.

Al Tamimi affirmed her belief in the urgent need for developing quality education in schools, which was the key motivation towards launching this initiative five years ago, by maximizing the abilities of students particularly those with poor academic performance (low achievers) and students with special needs.

At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Al Tamimi presented an honorary shield to Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, while winners and participants received medals and shields.

It is worth mentioning that “Knowledge to Benefit From” initiative is one of initiatives launched by the World in Your Hands, a non-profit company that was established in 2013 with the aim of creating an aware and ambitious generation by investing the energies of the youth towards a better life and enhancing values of justice and freedom.
