‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ Distributes 1300 Copies of ‘Talal Ibn Adeebah’ Story, Offers Library Section to Al Marqab Secondary School
AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) participated in a ceremony organized by Al Marqab Secondary School entitled “My Language: My Identity” to celebrate and promote Arabic language, under the patronage of Ms. Intisar Abu-Shari’a, director of the Marka District Education Directorate in the presence of a host of education experts and school principals in Marka.
The event was attended by TAG-Org Advisor for Education and Youth Mr. Fadi Al-Daoud who underlined the important role played by the private sector, in particular its partnership with the public sector. He highlighted Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization’s considerable efforts through its multiple partnerships with government bodies, particularly with schools based on the Organization’s belief in the importance of education in preparing future generations and contributing to the development process carried out by the Ministry of Education.
During the ceremony, 1300 copies of ‘Talal Ibn Adeebah’ story were presented to all students. The book written by author Areej Younis, chronicles the story of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh from his childhood during which he was forced to leave his homeland to the achievement of great success. The story presents lessons for achieving success against obstacles and challenges faced by the Palestinians and demonstrates how to achieve glory despite suffering.
It is noteworthy to mention that Talal Ibn Adeebah received Ministry of Education approval to be available and displayed at all public and private school libraries, since it serves as an educational tool incorporating positive values and messages for children.
During the ceremony, various artistic and poetic performances on the importance of preserving the Arabic language were presented by students, an art and science exhibit was inaugurated and the opening of a special section of the school library containing documentary and professional publications donated by TAG- Org took place.
Headmistress of the School Ms. Maha Al-Nays expressed her appreciation for the support of the Education Directorate to all school activities and extended gratitude to TAG-Org for the donation of a collection of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh professional and documentary publications, in addition to the distribution of “Talal Ibn Adeebah” story to all students of the School.
عFor her part, Ms. Abu-Shari’a highly commended TAG-Org’s support for Al-Marqab Secondary School, and underlined the importance of such a partnership with the private sector expressing her pride at TAG-Org's initiatives at the national level represented by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and his continuous efforts and support for the educational sector in Jordan with the aim of boosting and reforming the educational process.
