    TAG-Org and MTLS cooperate in training in the field of medical tests

     

    Amman – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org)/Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS) and the Medical Technology and Laboratory Society (MTLS) signed a cooperation agreement to unite their efforts in training and capacity building in the field of medical tests.

    The agreement was signed by Executive Director of Training, Mr. Tariq Hammad, representing the Organization and the Chairperson of the Society Ms. Reem Abu-Ehmeed.

    Mr. Tariq Hammad said: "We in TAG-KS act in accordance with the wishes of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, since the Knowledge Society is one of the initiatives adopted by TAG-Org that target Arab youth."

    He added: "Through its cooperation with many institutions, the Knowledge Society strives to contribute to human resources development and to provide the latest tools and methodology in the field of ITC. It also seeks to qualify a greater number of local professionals, enrich them with broad expertise and build their capacity to enable them to face the challenges of the labor market.

    For her part, Ms. Reem Abu-Ehmeed said: "Based on its commitment to keep pace with the developments of the profession and to develop the competencies of colleagues in our field, the Society always seeks to work collaboratively with institutions which have wide experience and high levels of professionalism in the field of human resources development. The society has therefore chosen to work with TAG-KS in the hope of hoping success in qualifying a greater number of colleagues in the different areas of the medical laboratories. 

    Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate to organize and hold range of training courses and hands-on vocational training programs accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education. The Society, for its part, will prepare the approved materials for the training according to the latest resources in the field and will provide qualified trainers with proven résumés. For its part, the Knowledge Society will manage the training process and hold the training courses at its premises.
