    Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Grants Paternity Leave to Its Employees

     

    AMMAN- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) granted its male employees in all its offices paternity leave when they are blessed with a new child.

    The new leave allocation enables male employee to take care of his wife and children and carry out the procedures required for the registration of the baby.

    Despite the fact that this leave does is not covered under Jordan’s labor law, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org Chairman decided to grant the leave to all male employees at TAG-Org's 86 offices around the world in appreciation of their dedication to their work in the organisation. Around 2000 employees work at TAG-Org's 86 offices around the world. 

    According to Jordanian law, seventy days’ paid leave is granted to mothers only on the birth of a child.  Paternity leave is for three working days as of the date of birth and employees have the right to take the leave separately or all at once.

    TAG-Org's employees appreciated this gesture by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressing that this decision will be vital for family relationships at an important time in their lives.
